Experienced a bit of local history this past weekend by attending a re-enactment at Fort Vancouver of preparations for a relief effort for the shipwrecked sailors of the U.S. Schooner Shark which sank at the mouth of the Columbia River on September 10, 1846. Lighting was by candle only, no flash allowed. It was DARK, forcing most shots to be on the edge. Fortunately this young lady held still for me long enough to get a shot.
