Every once in a while I haul the camera gear out (OK the camera gear is always out) and shoot some flowers around the house. I don’t do it too often because I generally am not happy with the images I get. This one I like. It was in a bunch of Mother’s Day flowers our darling daughter brought over for her mother.

I was asked to take some pictures for the Greater Portland Baptist Church Teen Banquet again this year. They have a great bunch of teens there and it’s always a fun night. The teens there are an exceptional bunch.
This year we went with a simple black background and ended up with some classic images I think. I sure hope they enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Here is an example of the classy, intelligent, attractive young ladies that were there. The dresses took on a wonderful Victorian look.

And one of the couples.

All the images can be viewed on my photo site – Norwood Photos
A couple of us photographers got together today and did some practice and experimental shooting. The models we hired were Grandchildren. What a patient bunch of troopers they were too. Some of the shots worked well…

Some didn’t –

And some should probably be left in the delete bucket…
